I wrote about Dread but I haven't said much about the second series of Justice League Beyond.  We had some player problems: Aaron couldn't attend much due to his change in real life situation and Ahmad only made it along for the first session - but the five regular players managed to help me put together a good 13 session campaign.

Last night's superhero session seemed to go fine. The comabt was supposed to be a sideshow and ended up taking most of the evening - a challenging fight against Amazo, supervillain robot who can copy the powers of other superheroes. but we still managed to debut a Wonder Woman (or two) and introduce Ahmad's character ( Read more... )

Session 11 of Justice Leage Beyond seemed to go well. The gimmick was that the group's usual characters had been captured at the end of last session; so each player had to play an alternate PC and fight evil in their absence, while trying to find a way to rescure them. Doctor Who: I've got a longer post forthcoming about the latest series of Doctor Who, which has stopped with it's first half-season. The short version is that I've found it a bit meh (possibly more so than any other series since the show restarted) and the story arc in particular has been a bit of a damp squib for me. Last night was the third Mutants and Masterminds session. It didn't go quite as well as the first two - the first half was a bit meandering.
